Blending/jetmixing anwendungen:
The Jiskoot blending systems and products are already applied with many hydrocarbon liquid applications, such as crude oil, LNG, LPG, bunker oil and ethanol streams.
Crude oil blending
Crude oil is mostly blended to raise the sales price or to process a lower grade of crude oil with a higher grade of crude oil. The purpose of blending is to produce crude oil according to the given specification with minimal loss of the precious product. The crude oil feedstock has a high variety in quality. That is why the oil blenders normally use a viscosity and a density trim control system. The required flowrate and component ratio are established in the control system according to the demanded recipe. On the basis of the eventual density or viscosity signal, the system gets an optimal control, which in all times gives you a batch according to the given specification and a minimal loss of the precious product.

Bunker oil blending
A barge, jetty or a container assembled in-line bunker blender gives operators the opportunity to produce any type of oil containing the minimum amount of viscosity and volume tolerances. Due to inaccuracies of conventional blenders, many users are often forced to blend beyond the given specification with al unnecessary costs as a consequence. The needed flowrate and component ratio are established in the control system to the ratio of the eventual recipe. Based on the possible density or viscosity signal the control of the system gets optimized. This allows for a batch according to the given specification and a minimum loss of the precious product.

Ratio or density controlled LPG and LNG in-line blending systems are often applied for the production of CFC free liquid gasses. The system is designed in such a way that pressure loss and the change of liquid to gas is prevented. The necessary flowrate and component ratio is established in the control system to the ratio of the eventual recipe. Based on an possible density signal the control of the system is optimized, which at all times gives you a batch according to the given specifications and without any unnecessary loss of product as propane or butane.

Ethanol blending
On top of the sales price of ethanol as a pure substance or in the form for alcoholic consumption a lot of tax is added. To avoid these taxes the industry adds ingredients to make this product useless for consumption. Outside these applications there are many other blending applications for ethanol. Most of the time the ethanol feedstock has a consistent quality, which makes flow based blending customary.
