Sampling anwendungen:
The Jiskoot sampling systems and products have been applied to many hydrocarbon fluids and gas applications: crude oil, gas, condensate, LNG, wet gas and multiphase streaming.

Crude oil sampling
The sampling of crude oil on an offshore platform, ship loading or refinery according to the international sampling standards is essential in realizing an accurate allocation of custody transfer, basic sediments and water measurements. We can deliver a wide screen of systems and products for crude oil applications. All of our systems are delivered with a performance guarantee by Jiskoot which is according to the international sampling standards and if requested, can be tested through water injection. Over 60% of the worldwide crude oil is valued on the basis of our manufacturing.

Condensate sampling
The Jiskoot representative condensate sampling and mixing systems are suitable for high pressure, onshore and offshore locations. These systems are typically designed to minimize any effects of process changes on the validity of the sample. We deliver a wide screen of systems and products for condensation applications. These systems are designed to prevent pressure loss and convert from condensate to gas. All of these Jiskoot systems are delivered with a performance guarantee, which is according to the international sampling standards, and when requested can be tested trough water injection.

LNG en LPG sampling
The sampling of liquid hydrocarbon gasses typically with lower temperatures and high pressures requires an accurate design with special materials and equipment. The sampling of LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) and LNG (liquefied natural gas) is done in accordance to the international standards. These systems are designed in a way that pressure loss and conversions from liquid to gas are prevented. LPG and LNG sampling systems can be designed for processes with high pressure. The sample receivers are carefully selected for the corresponding vapour tensions.

Refined product sampling
Automatic sampling systems can be used as a part of the ISO 9000 certification of refined products as naphtha, diesel, petrol or kerosene. The Jiskoot systems allow for analysing the density and quality of the stream in an online real time matter. These systems are designed in such a way that mutual pollution by different products going through the same pipe stays minimized. Also storage of the samples will be done in accordance to the demands of the laboratory.

Wet gas of multiphase sampling
Sampling wet gas or multiphase streams are more often necessary for reservoir management. To compensate for monitoring, allocation or tax purposes. By using the traditional DP measurements on wet gas typically give errors for measuring the quality of the gas. The Jiskoot wet gas sampler is more often used as a more accurate alternative for tracer techniques. This samples the stream of liquid/gas volume or bulk ratio and can define the content of the fluid.
The liquid and gas samples can be analysed for hydrocarbon/methanol/water ratio of the liquid and energy level of the gas. This makes it a very accurate alternative for multiphase flow meters (link) for high and low GVF applications.

Gas sampling
Isokinetic hydrocarbon gas samplers are designed in such a way that the flow composition remain the same as the process condition. Fluctuations in pressure and temperature can cause a change in the composition which can influence the lab results. Hydrocarbon gas sampling is a cost saving alternative for the installation of the direct measurements by a gas chromatograph. Also the difficult conditioning interventions with direct measurements by a gas chromatograph can be prevented.

Bunker oil sampling
The accurate sampling of bunker oil for basic sediments and water (BS&W) or viscosity, measurement is crucial for the successful operating of navy vessels. Wrong measurements can have catastrophic consequences, such as engine failure or an accident of a vessel. The only way to insure that the oil has the quality as given in the specification is, to analyze a representative sample during the transfer.
